FIELD: physical chemistry, particularly, methods and devices for purification of liquids from contaminants in aqueous phase. SUBSTANCE: method comprises absorption of contaminants on porous material and regeneration of the latter, adsorption is carried out on catalytically active material; regeneration is carried out in liquid being purified, and regeneration of catalytically material is carried out periodically if at least one of contaminants exceeds desired level, and regeneration is carried out in fluidization mode by feeding oxidizing agent from bottom, and catalytically active material is carbon-containing material. Invention makes it possible to work out ecologically safe method of purification of liquids and device for carrying it out and allows adsorption of contaminants to be carried out on porous carbon material with regeneration of the latter without loss of adsorption properties and also allows one to utilize contaminants.
