"RESINOL-BEN" MATERIAL FOR PROTECTIVE COATINGS OF BUILDING STRUCTURES AND METHOD OF ITS PRODUCTION Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: rubber-polymer materials, production of waterproofing and roofing materials. SUBSTANCE: claimed material may be used in construction of roofings from roll materials or roof tile in construction of buildings and structures, for protection of foundations, in capacity of impervious screens in construction of environmental control projects, underground structures and for bridge waterproofing. Material contains main composition consisting of polyolefins and rubber crumbs sizing up to 1.0 mm. Novelty is in that composition has olefins in the form of mixture of low-density and chlorsulfonated polyethylenes or mixture of secondary low-density and chlorsulfonated polyethylenes and bentonite dry mud as additional component. Material contains the following amounts of components per 100 wt.pts of main composition: mixture of low-density and chlorsulfonated polyethylenes, 15-50; rubber crumb, 20-80; bentonite dry mud, 5-30. Method of "Resinol-ben" material production includes stage of mixing the components, formation of material roll blank by calender or extrusion technology, its cooling with subsequent coiling or roll blank into coil or blank cutting into measured sheets. Novelty of method consists in conduction of components mixing into two stages with ready mass directed to accumulating vessel with continuous heating. EFFECT: increasing waterproofing properties of material in process of service, higher ecological properties of material production method and reduced cost price of articles made on its base. 13 cl, 2 tbl
