LIQUID PUMP CASING Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to casings of pumps providing heat exchange in internal combustion engines. Proposed casing is made from aluminium alloy of AK12M2 grade and is provided with end face with fastening unit and with flange from side of base connecting surface. Flange is limited over periphery by radius surfaces and straight-line cuts. Part of surfaces changes into boss with faces. Flange is crossed by four holes of non-equal height in pairs and is provided with cylindrical shoulder changing into conical surface. Ribs are made from flange side. Flange is additionally provided with three limiting projections. Five equally spaced cylindrical projections are made on conical surface. Two key slots are made in casing. End face has plate projections. Blind hole with spheroidal bottom is made in fastening. EFFECT: improved technological capabilities influencing reliability of fastening and operation of pump casing. 10 dwg
