FIELD: pumps used for delivery of petroleum products including oil and other liquid compounds used in manufacture of automobiles and other industries. SUBSTANCE: oil pump housing is just three-dimensional geometric body which may be placed in working chamber of gears. Working chamber is provided with trapezoidal port, 30 mm high and 60.42 mm wide and two holes of unequal length which have split lines. Diameter of upper base of boss is equal to 18.8 mm. On outer side of housing there are stiffening fins at maximum height of 27.8 mm and minimum height of 2192 mm and projection at height of 5.88 mm. Technological boss, 15.88 mm high is made on circular surface of wall at maximum radius of 20.3 mm on external (relative to surface of chamber) side of housing. Inner cavity for mounting the gears is engageable with surfaces of holes; fins are provided on outer side of wall. Mounting hole has two conical opposite holes and cylindrical section combining their bases. Conical profile of these holes has different shaped contours; housing is provided with shaped fork-like projection, technological projections, fins and projections of flanges on external side of housing. Flange is provided with auxiliary hole, fork-like projection is provided with radius engagement relative to forks; working chamber has form of petrachoid with angle dividing its surface relative to cavity; slots are made relative to plane. EFFECT: possibility of obtaining optimal construction of housing; reduced usage of metals without loss of operational reliability and durability. 6 dwg
