SUBSTANCE: small-size magnetic mass spectrometer that enables simultaneous recording of particles within comprehensive range of masses whose number is limited only by resolving power of device without changing its size, weight, and resolving power has ion source; cylindrical capacitor; sector magnet whose dimensions are consistent with range of masses under measurement that incorporates two ports facing each other with their parallel surfaces to form planar aperture perpendicular to main optical axis; output aperture; and detector. Output aperture of sector magnet is made in the form of cylindrical surface with radius r and axis on magnet side perpendicular to planes of ports; mentioned cylindrical surface crosses main optical axis of magnet whose radius Rm, corresponds to heavier mass under measurement at its angular length γm, counted from input aperture plane of magnet. Here r-to-Rm ratio meets dependence (Rm/R0)tg(3γm/2)≥r/Rm≥1, where R0 is mean radius of cylindrical capacitor; π/3 ≥ γm≥ π/4.
