FIELD: winning of heavy non-ferrous metals and ferroalloys. SUBSTANCE: non-consumable electrode is intended for electric furnaces employed in ore and impoverishment smelting when winning heavy non-ferrous metals and for ore-smelting furnaces used in winning of ferroalloys. Non-consumable electrode is comprised of current-feeding part and metal lug with through axial duct that houses tube supplying reducing gas. Current-feeding part comes in the form of interlinked sections of graphitized electrode, tube supplying reducing gas is made in the form of two sections. Upper section terminating at level of graphitized sections is matched with metal lug. Lower part of graphitized sections can be protected by water-cooled enclosure predominantly made of copper.
