FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy; methods and devices for rare-metal raw material processing. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes melting, exhaust of waste gases through gas duct cooling of gases, two-stage cleaning of gases from dust and toxic admixtures: first in cyclones at return of entrapped dust to melting process and then in metal-fabric filters at regeneration of filters by compressed air. Cooling of gases is effected by stepwise procedure: at first stage to temperature below 1300 C, at second stage 700-800 C and at third stage above 200 C by means of transpiration cooling system. At first-stage cooling, gases are simultaneously cleaned from admixtures through burning reaction gases and dust obtained after cleaning in filter is subjected to further processing. Device proposed for realization of this method includes furnace with roof where gas duct, cyclone and metal-fabric filters are located; filters are provided with unit for compressed air regeneration. Gas duct is made in form of stages: first lower stage is made in form of truncated pyramid with its truncated part located on furnace roof; it is provided with unit for afterburning of reaction gases and unit of transpiration cooling system located over perimeter of pyramid and its upper base. further stages of gas duct are provided with transpiration cooling system over entire length. Each stage of gas duct is connected with drum-separator by means of water supply pipes and steam discharge pipes.
