FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described is method of preparing 1.2-dichloroethane by reacting ethene with hydrogen chloride and oxygen or oxygen-containing gas on copper- containing catalyst in fluidized bed. Hydrogen chloride and oxygen (adducts) are introduced directly into fluidized bed along supply pipelines made in the form of gas-permeable molded product. Ethene and recycle gas stream are introduced through bottom made of porous gas-permeable material or provided with molded product made of porous gas permeable material. Device for carrying out method has fluidized bed reactor provided with pipelines for introducing streams of adducts and with at least one pipeline for withdrawing reaction products. At least one of pipelines for introducing adducts is made of porous material, and bottom intended for introducing ethene and recycle gas stream is made of gas-permeable material or provided with molded product made of porous gas-permeable material.
