FIELD: special equipment, applicable for suppression of fragmentation and high-explosive effect of blasts occurring as a result of acts of terrorism. SUBSTANCE: the blast localizer has one or more vessels filled with dispersing agent, restricted by an elastic shell anti-fragment shield secured on the external radius of the localizer. The anti- fragment shield is made corrugated with folds uniformly distributed around the edges, their quantity being 5 to 20 pc, with the fold side equal in length to 0.1 to 0.5 of the value of the radius of the localizer external shell. The fold sides are fastened to each other by a fastening with a strength lower than the strength of the elastic shell. Under the effect of the blast pressure in the localizer cavity the shell expands without any damage, breaking the fastening of the folds and straightening them. The corrugated anti-fragment shield makes it possible to realize the sufficient degree of shell deformation preset by the level of material elasticity.
