FIELD: furniture production. SUBSTANCE: armchair has carcass formed of large and small U-shaped members 1 and 2, U-shaped brace 3, flexible fabric 4 connected to carcass and adapted to form seat and back. Front support formed as U-shaped member 5 is pivotally joined to small U-shaped member 2. Side surface base of large U-shaped member 1 is pivotally connected to side surfaces of small U-shaped member 2. Brace 3 is movable on side surfaces of large U-shaped member 1. Part of flexible fabric 4 located between side surfaces of U-shaped members 1 and 2 is immovable, and part of fabric 4 located between front support 5 and rear support 6 of armchair may be moved for changing its arrangement. Armchair of such construction may be readily converted into chair used for rest on the beach, in the garden etc, or it may be alternatively used as chair in rooms or as small-sized collapsible bed.
