DISK-TYPE LIQUID SPRAYER Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: obtaining highly dispersed liquids, aerosols in particular; farming and forestry, medicine, food- processing and chemical industries. SUBSTANCE: disk-type liquid sprayer includes drive disk with axial liquid supply passage and radial discharge passages which are communicated with first one; discharge passages are rectangular in section; they extend to outer radius of disk; sprayer is also provided with ventilation passages of rectangular section which are not communicated with discharge passages; they have intake holes in area adjoining disk center and outlet holes on outer radius of disk. Proposed disk-type sprayer enhances dispersity of liquid being sprayed at smooth spraying of aerosol; it also increases circumferential range of spraying. EFFECT: reduced consumption of liquid; increased productivity; low power requirements. 2 dwg
