FIELD: shipbuilding; building of trimarans with controlled inter-hull hydrofoils. SUBSTANCE: trimaran has center and side hulls. Shipboard power plants and steering gears arranged in all hulls. Trimaran is provided with at least two incidence-controlled hydrofoils and units for forming air interlayer between fore portion and water medium. These units are located in fore portions and along sides of all three hulls. Hydrofoils are mounted in between hulls. Trips of these hydrofoils are secured in sides of hulls for rotation from 0 to 360 deg. EFFECT: enhanced rigidly of trimaran hull attachment; improved hydrodynamic properties and seaworthiness of trimaran; possibility of creating additional adjustable lift force; enhanced economical efficiency. 4 dwg
