FIELD: shipbuilding; building of hydrofoil trimarans. SUBSTANCE: trimaran has center and side hulls. Shipboard power plants and steering gears are arranged in all three hulls. Ship is provided with underwater hydrofoil system which consists of at least two hydrofoils. Each hydrofoil is secured to each hull. Besides that, hydrofoil system includes at least two inter-hull incidence-controlled hydrofoils. EFFECT: enhanced rigidity of attachment trimaran hulls; improved hydrodynamic properties and seaworthiness; possibility of creating additional lift force; enhanced economical efficiency. 1 dwg
