PROCEDURE CONTROLLING TRANSPORTATION OF CARGOES Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: control over shipment of cargoes to points of destination. SUBSTANCE: procedure assumes presence of burglar alarm in containers encoded by authorized switching alarm on and off with identification of operator's code, of aboard equipment in transportation facilities fitted with navigation system employing radio navigation systems "Tlonas" or GPS, of communication system with burglar alarm and information analysis center. Navigation information and information on state of burglar alarm is periodically transmitted to information analysis where it is received, stored and displayed. Signal messages formed by activation of alarm by both authorized and unauthorized opening of containers and on request of driver are timely sent to information analysis center where they are displayed, position of transportation facility is shown in electron map of terrain and then decision on operational response is made. Technical result of proposed procedure lies in capability of uninterrupted monitoring of state of transportation facility and transported cargo en route, it can be used to control transportation of important cargoes by automobile, railway, sea and air transport.
