FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises the following steps: calculating current coordinates, generating and transmitting to an information analytical centre a signal with information on the code of a vehicle and current coordinates thereof, as well as on unauthorised opening of the container, wherein a set of signal receiving, generating and transmitting devices installed on the vehicle is defined as a monitoring system. The information analytical centre receives the signal, retrieves information and, after saving the information, compares current coordinates of the vehicle with given route coordinates and generates an alarm signal in case of deviation from the route. GPS navigation signals are received directly in the container on the vehicle. The monitoring system is powered by a three-dimensional oscillatory-type electromechanical energy converter which generates electrical energy only through mechanical vibrations caused by movement of the vehicle. The signalling system is powered by a battery, wherein the battery is charged by the three-dimensional oscillatory-type electromechanical energy converter. The value of the electromotive force of the electromechanical converter is transmitted via a cellular communication system to the information analytical centre, where it is used to calculate the amplitude of vibrations acting on the cargo and judge the state of the cargo. The state of the vehicle is judged from the presence or absence of a signal and the duration of stoppage is determined from the time of absence of a signal.

EFFECT: high accuracy of determining the location of cargo and determining the amplitude of vibrations acting on the cargo.
