FIELD: laser engineering for medicine, computer science, office organization facilities, and entertainment industry. SUBSTANCE: diode-pumped solid-state laser has longitudinal diode pumping source, objective lens, transparent current-conducting plate, active element, negative lens, and nonlinear element. Active element, negative lens, and nonlinear element are mounted inside resonator case. Outer end of the latter carries transparent current-conducting plate. Negative lens and nonlinear element are secured inside case by means of bushing. Input mirror is, essentially, first multilayer insulating coating deposited on input surface of active element. Output mirror is, essentially, second multilayer conducting coating applied to output surface of nonlinear element. Input surface of nonlinear element is covered with third multilayer insulating coating. Fiber-optics connector is placed between output of longitudinal diode pumping source and objective lens. EFFECT: enhanced lasing efficiency, improved spectral and spatial characteristics of second harmonic. 23 cl, 1 dwg
