FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves performing decompression laminectomy, eliminating anterior spinal cord compression and setting fixing members. The fixing members are introduced directly into the superior thoracic vertebral bodies in parallel to the anterior longitudinal ligament at an angle of 15-20 deg relative to the frontal plane and 5-10 deg relative to the sagittal plane through the seventh cervical vertebra body in which recesses are built. EFFECT: provided rigid fixation conditions.
