METHOD FOR RESTORING LENGTH SIZE OF BLADE OF REFRACTORY ALLOY Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

Abstract RU 2190514 C2

FIELD: welding production, possibly turbine manufacture, machine engineering. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of mechanically trimming end face of blade vane until complete removal of blackened spots caused by exploitation; then trimming lateral surface of vane adjoining to its end. Width of trimmed lateral surface consists 1-2 width values of vane wall. Prepared surfaces are subjected to abrasive grain blasting until achieving uniform dull color. Occurrence of bright or dark spots is prevented. Blade is mounted and fixed in water cooled attachment. Electric-arc gas-shield surfacing of end of vane is realized with use of non-consumable electrode by means of constant value and sign electric current. Electric arc is ignited in water cooled attachment and it is transferred to additive metal for further surfacing end of blade along it. EFFECT: enhanced strength of surfaced blade due to optimal state of surfaced faces of vane. 2 cl, 1 tbl
