FIELD: production of charcoal and activated carbon; production of combustible gas when used as gas generator. SUBSTANCE: proposed plant consists of furnace chamber with fire box above which retort with holes for escape of steam-gases is located; holes are found in lower portion of retort and are communicated with furnace chamber and passage for supply of steam to retort cavity; expansion chamber mounted on retort under steam-gas escape holes is also provided with holes in its lower portion which are communicated with furnace chamber; it is also provided with gas bleeding branch pipe. EFFECT: possibility of supply of optimal amount of gas flowing to furnace chamber and bleeding remaining gas for other purposes; facilitated manufacture and ease in operation; reduction of toxic emissions due to supply of optimal amount of gas; complete automation of processes. 2 dwg
