OVERHEAD MOTOR ROAD, METHOD OF ITS ERECTION OR RECONSTRUCTION Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: road building. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to building of overhead motor roads, bridges and technology of their erection when building new motor roads or bridges or reconstruction of existing motor roads and bridges, particularly for building road crossings in two levels for increasing traffic capacity. Proposed overhead road has roadway, foundations, main box-shaped beams against which cross beam thrust. Cross beams are arranged at angle of 75 - 105 degrees relative to main beams. These superstructure cross beams are provided with webs and pillars. Beams adjacent over length of span are united by connecting beam placed in between, mainly of trapezoidal, T-shaped and/or H-section beams. Height of pillars of cross beams arranged on supports exceeds height of connecting beams or semibeams 1.2 times, minimum. Novelty is that at least one main beam is installed in parallel with longitudinal axis of overhead road and semibeams of first half of overhead road are installed with resting against main beam at angle of 75-105 deg relative to main beam. Mounting of all beams in carried out in the same sequence for second half of overhead road, and free ends of semibeams are connected in pairs.
