FIELD: construction engineering; bridge engineering. SUBSTANCE: device for anchoring reinforcing cable sheathed with anticorrosive polymeric material has steel anchor iron ring whose cavity receives segmental wedges enclosing reinforcing cable. Pipe made of transparent or semi-transparent polymeric material is installed in front of anchor iron ring. Cover is installed at free end of anchor iron ring and has cavity filled with lubricant and bordered on sides facing segmental wedges. Membrane is destroyed in the course of displacing cover towards segmental wedges. Polymeric pipe has inner diameter exceeding at least by 1.1 times outer diameter of cable sheath or by 1.25 times diameter of circle circumscribed around reinforcing cable to form lubricant-filled annular cavity between them. Adapters are installed at ends of pipe tightly joined to reinforcing cable sheath on the one side and to anchor iron ring, on other. Polymeric pipe may be at least partially filled with lubricant before installing reinforcing cable in it. Segmental wedges may enclose reinforcing cable on its non-sheathed part. Adapter by means of which pipe is tightly joined to anchor iron ring is at least partially installed on non-sheathed length reinforcing cable.
