FIELD: pumping plants. SUBSTANCE: sucker-rod rotor has body 1 with cover 2, unit 3 for connection with sucker-rod string, arm 4 with unit 5 for connection with walking beam of pumping unit and mechanism of transformation of swinging motion of arm 4 into unidirectional intermittent rotary motion of cover 2. Said mechanism is made in the form of overrunning clutch 6 and worm gearing 7. Driving member 8 of clutch 6 is located on axle 9 of swinging of arm 4 and clutch driven member 10 is connected with worm 11 of gearing 7 whose worm wheel 12 is connected with cover 2. Worm 11 has friction brake whose block is spring-loaded with respect to worm by spring 13 ensuring its contact with cover-plate 14. Invention allows to lift fluids from large depths, for instance, from wells with driving device in the form of walking-beam pumping unit located on ground surface. EFFECT: higher service life and reliability of sucker-rod rotor due to reduced wear of its main components in operation, and its higher efficiency due to increased angle of turn of sucker rods in each pumping stroke of arm. 3 cl, 3 dwg
