FIELD: ventilating systems. SUBSTANCE: device is used for removing exhaust gas containing harmful materials from mobile pollution source in the course of its maintenance (repairs) such as motor car located or moved over repair pit with its engine running. Device has passage split into running parts and idle part, suction manifold, gas collector arranged along running part of passage and provided with longitudinal slit covered by three-dimensional packing member; gas collector has nozzle and tip installed on movable carriage with carrier and connected to manifold through slit by means of nozzle; device also has hoists installed at ends of running and idle parts; idle part is located under running one; lower contacting part of external surface of gas collector nozzle is flat, upper one is parabola-section contacting part; three-dimensional packing member is made in the form of extended sealed shell of commercial rubber material and filled with gaseous substance under pressure, such as nitrogen. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of device; reduced detrimental impact of exhaust gas on personnel. 4 cl, 4 dwg
