FIELD: applicable for cryoconservation and storage of prepared tissues of mammalia and alive cultivated equivalents of tissues made according to the "vitro" know- how practice at a freezing temperature. SUBSTANCE: the method provides for immersion of the tissue of mammalia or the cultivated equivalent of the tissue in a solution of cryopreservative, agitation of the solution of cryopreservative and the tissue immersed in it for effective penetration of the solution of cryprotector in this tissue. Then freezing of the tissue is carried out at a very low freezing rate. In the process of freezing operation ice formation in the cell-free space is initiated by introduction of ice nuclei. Cryopreserved tissue may be stored up to its use during an unlimited time period. The cultivated equivalent of the tissue is an "in vitro" model equivalent to the human tissue, such as the skin or the eye cornea, which after the return from storage may be used for transplantation or implantation "in vivo", or for sorting of compound "in vitro".
