FIELD: technical physics. SUBSTANCE: number of phases of three-phase medium is consistently reduced by heating with constant volume. Pressure and temperature are measured and recorded simultaneously. Transition from three-phase medium to two-phase medium is determined by start of rise of pressure and temperature. Quantity of heat spent for transition of three-phase medium to phase medium is measured at this moment. Transition from two-phase medium to single-phase medium is determined by change of character of dependence of pressure on temperature. Content of phases is found by specific volume, entropy and known properties of phases with use of additivity relationships. EFFECT: expanded application field. 2 dwg
