FIELD: receivers of signals of location from satellite. SUBSTANCE: for reduction of undesirable influences of reflected radiations on the results of measurements of GPS location that should be based only on the straight paths of radio-frequency signals the method provides for prevention of the influence of multi-path wave propagation with the aid of simple extrapolation. Measurements are taken with the use of correlation with four pseudorandom codes E1, E2, L1, L2 in response to the code taken from the satellite. The first series of measurements of correlation times and energies obtained with codes E1, L1 is taken, corresponding to advance and delay d relative to the point code, and the second series of measurements with codes E2, L2 corresponding to advance and delay Kd (K different from 1 and 0). The results of the measurement for K= 0 corresponding to the case when the multi-path wave propagation has no influence are subtracted from the obtained result with the use of linear extrapolation. The method may be realized with one feedback circuit of the pseudorandom code or with two independent feedback circuits. EFFECT: reduced undesirable influences of reflected radiations. 7 cl, 9 dwg
