FIELD: general surgery. SUBSTANCE: after removal of equinocockal cyst, rubber cuff is introduced into residual cavity, and gaseous nitrogen is forced therein to impart cyst shape to cuff. Temperature of nitrogen is then lowered to form vapor-liquid mixture. The latter is made circulate until temperature of cyst walls is no higher than -80 C at the depth 1-1.5 cm. For that. Temperature of gaseous nitrogen is lowered to temperature between -150 C and -163 C. EFFECT: enabled uniform freezing to a specified depth of parasite cyst wall. 14 cl
