FIELD: aviation equipment; fire-fighting equipment.

SUBSTANCE: airborne fire extinguishing system consists of a suspension device and a helicopter. The suspension device contains a fuselage in the form of a frame, outlet pipes, nozzles, adapters, easily removable beams with tail rotors and stabilizers, and the helicopter has a reel with a cable, a high-pressure hose and electrical wiring, by which the helicopter is connected to the suspension device, a water tank with a crane, a camera with a monitor, thermal imagers, altitude and temperature sensors, electrical equipment, a control panel. The suspension device is configured to control its position by tail rotors and reactive force. The suspension device comprises a wall nozzle more than three meters long, made with the possibility of turning through an angle of 90 degrees in a vertical plane from a horizontal stowed position to a working position, or a frame on which the fire monitor is mounted with a latch and a mechanism for rotation relative to the vertical and the horizontal axes.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of extinguishing forest and steppe fires, fires at facilities where flammable and combustible liquids are stored.
