FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: grinding head contains bottom and top grinding members. The bottom member is made from material for grinding drill and cutter edges. The top grinding section is coaxial to the bottom section and forms curved groove central- located from the side of bottom surface of the bottom grinding section. The top section of the housing is provided with central space located from the side of the top surface of the grinding section, and with driving and supporting sections. Driving section has shape and size providing rotation of the driving member inside the driving section. The supporting section interacts with fixing members which are placed on the driving member. The holder contains driving member with its one end connected to the driven shaft of the grinding machine. The driving member is mounted for rotation. The free end of the holder is located outside the grinding machine. The driving member is provided with passage along its length. The free end of the driving member is installed into central space which is located from the side of the top surface of the grinding head. EFFECT: improved quality of grinding enhanced accuracy. 31 cl, 15 dwg
