FIELD: mechanical engineering; materials handling equipment; gantry cranes of high load capacity. SUBSTANCE: proposed gantry crane has span beams connected in pairs by U- shaped frames, and tilted supports. Side walls of span beams pointed to supports are provided with brackets rigidly secured on supports. Upper horizontal sheet of bracket is connected with lower end face of frame post and overlaps beam upper chord. Upper part of each support is hinge-connected with U-shaped frame in zone of intersection of its post and cross-bar, and lower part of support is provided with flange for connection with insert plate by means of bolts. Reinforcement members providing designed rigidly are connected to insert plate. Insert plate is hinge-coupled with balance axle of running bogie by means of two cheeks rigidly coupled with plate. EFFECT: increased spatial rigidity with provision of compliance with mounting requirements. 7 cl, 5 dwg
