FIELD: mechanical engineering; lifting and transportation facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to slewing circles of large- capacity crane-manipulator sets mounted on vehicle chassis. Proposed base of slewing circle contains fixed outrigger beam and turnable balance beam hinge connected with fixed beam, and housing of bearing unit for mounting and fixing of turnable post. Said housing is rigidly connected with outrigger beam by means of spatially developed case. Inner space of outrigger beam is divided by welded-to partition into two adjacent channels of identical section for extensible beams with outriggers. Gear wheel is rigidly secured on upper end framing of bearing unit housing from outside. Said wheel mechanically engages with drive gear of post turning mechanism. Design of base makes it possible to use turning mechanism on basis of hinge- torque open mechanical gear train with drive from hydraulic motor and endless angle of post turning in proposed slewing circle.
