FIELD: prediction of earthquakes predominantly in seismic-active regions. SUBSTANCE: in correspondence with invention non-tidal waves of gravity acceleration in gravimetric points are found. Series of measurements of absolute values of free fall acceleration is conducted and average value of them which is constant value for specific gravimetric point is calculated. Type of dependence of periodic fluctuations of gravity acceleration and absolute values of gravity acceleration are determined and they are compared with their theoretical values. Moment of decrease of actual values of free fall acceleration with reference to theoretical data by value exceeding maximum deviation of gravity acceleration caused by effect of atmospheric pressure is assumed as forerunner of earthquake. EFFECT: enhanced authenticity of determination of forerunners of natural earthquakes.
