FIELD: electrical engineering; bare stranded conductors for overhead power transmission lines and for electrified transport as reinforcing and suction lines. SUBSTANCE: first alternative of proposed conductor has carrying core of steel wires covered with at least one shielding layer of nickel, and/or chromium, and/or copper, and external lays of aluminum wire. Second alternative of proposed conductor has carrying core of steel wires covered with shielding layer of zinc, external lays of aluminum wires covered with at least one shielding layer of nickel and/or chromium. Proposed design alternatives of electrical conductor provide for ensuring desired corrosion resistance dispensing with neutral lubricants and adequate electric conductivity, mechanical strength, and long life when used in industrial regions, in vicinity of seas and salt lakes. EFFECT: enhanced electric conductivity and corrosion resistance, reduced maintenance charges due to dispensing with anticorrosive lubricant. 2 cl, 2 dwg
