SUBSTANCE: mixture of finely dispersed powder of zinc oxide, and/or chromium oxide, and/or nickel oxide and organic binder is deposited on surface of article. Then surface so prepared is subjected to effect of plasma. Cathode is article, anode is graphite. Composition of mixture can include 1-2 parts by weight of powdery quartzite. EFFECT: deposition of quality coat on surfaces of any class of machining, possibility of utilization of non-expansive raw materials in minimally reduced number of apparatuses. 1 cl, 1 dwg
