FIELD: code-division multiple access communication systems employing various types of extended codes. SUBSTANCE: generator of first channel of device of control over power in arrangement of base station generates signal of first channel by way of extension of first input data with use of orthogonal code and generator of second channel generates signal by way of extension of second input data with use of quasi-orthogonal code. Gain factor of signal of second channel is higher than that of first channel. First controller of gain factor controls power of signal in first channel and second controller of gain factor controls power of signal in second channel. Adder sums up signals of first and second channels and extender extends signal brought out from adder with the help of pseudo-random noise code. Base station sends message of inquiry-response to mobile station over second channel and repeats message of inquiry-response raising power of transmission over second channel if response message from mobile station is not received. EFFECT: securing equal signal-to-noise ratio for signals compressed with use of both orthogonal and quasi-orthogonal codes. 43 cl, 8 dwg
