FIELD: code- division multiple-access communication systems, in particular those of second and third generations. SUBSTANCE: device designed in particular for use in systems of second and third generations to separate Walsh code assigned to common forward channel IS-95 and Walsh code assigned to common forward channel IMT-2000, respectively, has plurality of channel transmitters, memory medium carrying orthogonal code numbers for common forward channel used in second CDMA communication system and orthogonal code numbers which cannot support orthogonality because of code used by common forward channel at maximal data transmission speed, orthogonal code being used in first CDMA communication system, as well as controller to read orthogonal code out of memory medium according to information coming from mobile station about its type and assignment of particular common forward channel so that message passed through common forward channel is expanded and conveyed by one of respective channels transmitters using one of particular orthogonal code numbers read out. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of using mentioned codes. 30 cl, 9 dwg
