METHOD TO PRODUCE FODDER FOR DOMESTIC ANIMALS BASED UPON LIQUID HYDROLYZATE OUT OF MEAT RAW MATERIAL Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: combined fodder production, fodder production for domestic animals (cats and dogs). SUBSTANCE: the method to produce fodder for domestic animals includes subsequent processes of fermentative and acidic hydrolysis of raw material. The latter represents chicken by-products (viscera) reduced to a stuffing state. Raw material treatment is carried out by a proteolytic fermentative preparation at endo- and exopeptidases ratio being 1:1, 1:1.5, 1.5: 1 at 0.1% amount against raw material weight at 50-60 C for 0.5-1.0 h. As for acidic hydrolysis, it is performed at 95-100 C for 20-30 min to obtain pH=5.0-5.5. A hydrolyzate obtained is divided into portions. One portion is directed together with combined fodder into a feed extruder to introduce the formed granules inside at 1-2% amount. Another one is directed into a cutter to spray granules onto a surface at 5% amount against granules' weight.
