FIELD: fire-fighting method. SUBSTANCE: method involves controlling relative displacements of combustibles and combustion sources, states and parameters thereof; forecasting zone coordinates in the vessel where combustible and combustion source having temperature sufficient for initiating ignition may come into contact; signaling it as a fact of possible occurrence of fire hazard, with forecasting of coordinates of mentioned zones being also carried out earlier at vessel designing stage by statistic modeling of possible relative displacements of combustibles and combustion sources, changes in the states and parameters thereof; determining conditions characterizing the situation in room which may result in fire hazard.
