FIELD: motor road building. SUBSTANCE: proposed method can be used at building motor roads of 3 rd-5 th categories. According to proposed method roadbed is covered by oil slime containing 20-70% mass percent of oil products in amount of 0.3-0.7 m³ per 1m² of roadbed. Then roadbed covered by oil slime is subjected to compacting by rolling after which mineral material and second layer of oil slime in amount of 0.5 - 1.1 m³ per 1m² of roadbed is applied with subsequent rolling of layers and holding for period found from formula t=180-4.1 T where t is holding time, h; T is ambient temperature, C.
