FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicles with electric traction. Propulsion unit includes electric motor with storage batteries, reduction gear connecting electric motor axle with drive of differential for driving axle-shafts, and intermediate axle. Two clutches and two bevel gears are slide-fitted on axle of motor and intermediate axle of reduction gear. Said bevel gears are in meshing with bevel gear stationary fitted on additional axles coupled with axle of mechanical energy recuperator. Coil spring fixed by ratchet mechanical energy recuperator. Coil spring fixed by ratchet mechanism at winding is fitted around axle of mechanical energy recuperator. Clutches and bevel gears can come in contact to transmit torque. Said clutches have three positions: neutral, recuperator charging position and recuperator operating position. Clutch control level and recuperator ratchet gear release member are coupled with electric magnets. Cross rack in zone of car control pedals is used as device to connect recuperator for movement of electric car. Said control cross rack is set into operation by electromagnet from control panel and it contains two end electric transmitters placed in series under car control pedals. EFFECT: improved pickup, increased additional reserve of energy for maneuvering, increased run at one charge of batteries. 4 cl, 8 dwg
