FIELD: cartridges for hand portable barrelless self-defense weapon. It is designed for use by civilians for the purpose of self-defense by a shot of traumatic elements for repulse of an attack due to painful action causing a shock state. SUBSTANCE: in the traumatic cartridge for the barrelless weapon, having a cartridge case, powder charge, ignition element and a traumatic element, the ignition element represents an electric primer and a gas generator pressed in the cartridge case. The traumatic element is made as a rubber bullet with a metal slug used for non-extraction of the rubber bullet. The bullet is rolled up in the body of the gas generator. The electric primer and the gas generator may be made as a single part or separately. The cartridge case may be made of a high-strength aluminium alloy or reinforced plastic. The traumatic element for the barrelless weapon is manufactured of elastic material and made as a bullet with a metal slug used for non-extraction. The bullet consists of two parts, the head and the tail, connected by a jumper. The bullet tail outside diameter is less than that of the head. The bullet may be manufactured of rubber. EFFECT: prevented physical injuries at a distance from 0.1 m, guaranteed stopping effect at a distance up to 10 m. 7 cl, 4 dwg
