FIELD: cartridges for barrels firing devices of self-defense.
SUBSTANCE: the cartridge has a cartridge case, impact primer cap, and a traumatic component in the form of a bullet of elastic material whose nose and tail sections are connected by a crosspiece destructed at a shot. The tail section has a metal core in the form of a thin-walled funnel and a cavity with a propellant charge placed in it.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cartridge and prevented assault of body injuries.
