SUBSTANCE: lead accumulator plate has copper current lead coated with layer of alloy incorporating tin, lead, and zinc and then with layer of lead, thickness ratio of layers being 0.1-1.0; it also has active material. Alloy incorporating tin, lead, and zinc has definite proportion of ingredients chosen so that it possesses high corrosion resistance which prevents dissolution of copper base and, hence, raises life expectancy of accumulator by 50%.
