FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy; production of a leaden alloy for lattice frames of leaden storage batteries. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a leaden alloy for lattice frames of leaden storage batteries and a method of its production. It may be used in nonferrous metallurgy. The leaden alloy for lattice frames of leaden storage batteries contains the following doped components: antimony, stannum, arsenic, selenium and as dopants - copper and sulphur at the following ratio of the components (in mass %): antimony 0.7-3.5, stannum 0.05-0.5, arsenic 0.05-0.3, copper 0.01-0.1, sulphur 0.001-0.03, selenium 0.01-0.15, lead - the rest. The method of production of the leaden alloy for lattice frames of leaden storage batteries provides for introduction in lead of the following dopants: antimony, stannum, arsenic, copper, sulfur, selenium. At that selenium is introduced into the alloy at the temperature of 330-500 = after introduction of all other dopants. EFFECT: invention allows to produce a leaden alloy of high corrosion resistance and mechanical strength with a low development of gas products on electrodes of storage batteries. 2 cl
