FIELD: electrical engineering, in particular, production of lead cells. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in precoating of the copper current tap by electrolytic method with a lead-tin-zinc alloy from nitrilotriacetic electrolyte, then a coat of lead and active material is applied. Precoating from electrolyte is accomplished at the following relation of components, g/l: nitrilotriacetic acid - 80 to 200; lead in terms of metal - 40 to 90; tin in terms of metal - 6 to 15; zinc in terms of metal - 0.3 to 0.9; surface-active admixture - 0.5 to 5 and pH=3 to 9.
