FIELD: manufacture of lead-acid cells. SUBSTANCE: paste containing lead, lead oxides and sulfate is applied on current conducting grid. Grid is dipped into vessel with deluted solution of sulfuric acid and is connected to negative pole of power supply source. Lead plate is put into same vessel and is linked to positive pole of power supply source. Electric current with consumption of 20-30 Ah/kg of active mass is passed through electrode which then is extracted from vessel. Remaining acid is let run down and grid is dried at 100-120 C without rinsing. EFFECT: improved quality of positive electrodes, facilitated manufacturing process. 2 tbl
