FIELD: wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves mixing particles with binder and additive, as version; directing mixture through at least one blank molding device from which mixture is delivered onto substrate; applying at least one surface layer of long particles onto substrate; applying at least one layer of short particles onto applied layer; repeatedly applying layer of long particles on layer of short particles for forming second surface layer. Short particle layer is applied onto substrate so that short particles are located substantially in middle layer of blank section, with amount of short particles decreasing toward surface layers. Method and apparatus allow constructional articles such as plates to be manufactured by improved fractionation of particles. Also short particles may be utilized.
