FIELD: wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves using longer and shorter particles as well as shortest particles, with shavings and/or fibers being used as particles; mixing particles with binder and possible additives; passing mixture through at least one blank former; delivering particle mixture onto substrate, for example on belt conveyor or mold or blank. Particles are applied to substrate at predetermined particle orientation so that at least part of particles are oriented in direction differing from direction of orientation of other particles. Method allows constructional articles, such as constructional plates, to be manufactured. EFFECT: improved sorting of material and, as a result, improved spreading and orienting of particles. 18 cl, 3 dwg
