FIELD: power engineering; firing-up and stabilization of combustion of coal-pulverizing spray in power-generating and hot-water boilers provided with vortex burners. SUBSTANCE: vortex burner has secondary air volute 1, air mixture volute 2, secondary air tube 3, air mixture tube 4 and inner air mixture tube 5 which are located coaxially. Wall of inner of inner air mixture tube 5 has two holes which are closed by gates 7 located opposite combustion zone of plasma jet and used for introducing part of air mixture inside air mixture tube 5; device for free motion of plasmatron 6 is located inside this tube; plasmatron 6 is set before holes during firing-up procedure. EFFECT: avoidance of use of mazut for firing-up and stabilization of combustion of coal- pulverizing spray in boilers provided with vortex burners; enhanced efficiency at retained geometry of pulverized-coal burners. 3 cl, 1 dwg
