FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: proposed method is used in particular for manufacturing permanent magnets based on rare- earth elements with boron and iron using powder metallurgy techniques and involves covering magnet surfaces with corrosion-resistant coating of film-forming material under vacuum in electrical field environment with accelerating dc voltage continuously applied; in addition, industrial-frequency accelerating ripple voltage is superposed on the latter , its amplitude being 30-50 kV and length, 15-30 mcs.
